Product Description
Animals should definitely not wear clothing. ...because a snake would lose it, a billy goat would eat it for lunch, and it would always be wet on a walrus! This well-loved book by Judi and Ron Barrett shows the very youngest why animals' clothing is perfect...just as it is.

: ) July 13, 2010 Ulyyf (NYC) This is a very simple book illustrating various reasons why animals should... yeah.
The text is simple and a bit understated, the illustrations are quietly hilarious (if that's possible). I keep picturing the hen with pants on and cracking up!
Funny and engaging June 29, 2010 Sharon My kids (3 1/2) really enjoy this book, though it's not one of their all time favorites. They laugh at the different pictures and the animals looking ridiculous. The pictures and text are simple, but it's still fun to return to many times.
There is a kid in all of us. June 24, 2009 C. Royston (Indiana, USA) We found this book while searching for another one, "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs." Both of these make great bed time reading for our now second grader. Everyone enjoys "reading." Its a great bonding time with our son.
Funny! June 19, 2009 AvidReader (U.S.) I violated the don't judge a book by its cover when I bought this. The title and the cover art seemed too funny to pass up. The result, my toddler really likes this book and I do too! I cracked up the first time I read through it. The illustrations are priceless. Also, the fact that there is just one line per page makes it easy to read to little ones who want to keep turning pages. You cannot go wrong with this one.
Fun! May 28, 2009 Skhy (St. Louis, MO USA) Bought this as a gift for my 84-year old mother, who has always liked animals dressed up in clothes. Funny illustrations, cute ending!
