During our school's celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday this March, a Spanish speaking friend came in to read this version of Green Eggs and Ham. We gathered our Spanish speaking students, and he read the story in a kindergarten classroom after they had heard the English version. It was a totally enjoyable experience for all.

This is one of my favorite children's spanish books to read to my daughter because it rhymes! the sing-song rhyming is what draws young children into books when they are too young to understand the meaning of the words. I've been reading this book to my daughter since she was just a baby and at 4 years old, it is still one of her favorites. I highly recommend this book!

I am learning spanish and this book was a great learning tool. We can all relate to Dr Seuss and it falls right in line to help learn the language. It is a confidence builder to pick up the book and understand the contents.

Dr. Seuss was such a gifted children's books writer, he knows how to keep kids engaged and amused -and adults too! Aida Marcuse (the translator) did a phenomenal job translating this one. IMO it's even more fun than the original version in English. Though often not the literal words since that would be impossible, the clever translation nevertheless conveys the meaning accurately while still keeping the rhymes and the flow of the story. It's such a fun read, my three-year old son asks for it often. We've been endlessly entertained reading this. Nos gusta mucho Huevos Verdes con Jamón, gracias, gracias Dr. Seuss & Aida Marcuse -this is a real treat!
