First and favorite book for our twin girls! May 26, 2010 chiwowee (Los Angeles, CA) We received this book as a gift and started reading it to the girls at bedtime when they were about 4 months old. The pictures are big and beautiful and as a parent you will never forget the words! My husband and I used to bet how far in the book we could get without yawning ourselves! Our girls are almost 3 now and they still love it. This book is a really wonderful gift for new parents!
Great bedtime story May 13, 2010 Amy Whitcomb (San Francisco, CA) Rhyming, sing-songy story with sweet illustrations. I've given this as a baby shower gift dozens of times.
Best Baby Book Ever... March 3, 2010 Three great girls (Western Massachusetts) This book has the most beautiful animal illustrations...It's a must have bedtime book for little ones. A traditional gift for newborns in our family.
Best bedtime book! February 17, 2010 Washington Mama (Washington State) This book is precious. I've read it to my kids from day one and they both adore it. The illustrations are sweet, the story is sweet, it's just a great book.
Save Your Money, Skip this one. December 29, 2009 Pippin37 (Poughkeepsie, NY United States) 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
My daughter got this book when she was two. I found it annoying that the book wasn't consistent. For example...a baby horse is called a foal, but a baby sheep is a sheep, not a lamb. With so many great books out there, I would skip this one.
