Product Description
It was missing a piece. And it was not happy. So it set off in search of its missing piece. And as it rolled it sang this song -Oh I'm lookin' for my missin' piece I'm lookin' for my missin' piece Hi-dee-ho, here I go, Lookin' for my missin' piece. What it finds on its search for the missing piece is simply and touchingly told in this fable that gently probes the nature of quest and fulfillment.

Love Shel, this is a must-have February 6, 2010 R. D. Wood (san antonio, texas) My dad used to read the Silverstein books of poetry to me when I was little. We had no idea that there were short stories by him until I ran into this little treasure at my school library (I'm a teacher). This is a sweet book about fitting in and being comfortable in your own skin.
Great and must have books December 24, 2009 Regina Silva (New York, NY USA) My grandaughter is a "book worm" and she really enjoys this book. She just turn 11 and I am giving her a Kindle to incentivete her passion for reading but I still will give her great books like this one. She really enjoyed it.
Great for elementary school students! November 18, 2009 Valerie M. Carson (Hatboro, PA USA) This book is an excellent introduction for young students to the world of Shel Silverstein! The 4th and 5th grade students in our school love this author's books. The younger students really enjoy The Missing Piece. The illustrations are simple yet effective and the words make some children want to sing-along!
the Missing Piece November 7, 2009 A Mother of 2 Kidlets (Chicago suburbs) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
How many times have we all felt like we are missing a piece? this charming book by Silverstein tells the journey of a circle in search of its missing piece. it take it's journey and searches and while doing that, the circle has some nice experiences. All and all, it is the journey, not the end results that matters and the Missing Piece teaches that eloquently and with simple drawings.
Very happy October 21, 2009 H. Cohen The book came in the condition it said it would be in and was very prompt.
