5 stars?? Come on! July 30, 2010 Jan Hoogland 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This relatively small book is mainly filled with tasteless drawings and pictures that really don't inform you of anything useful. The usable content is minimal and at a level that may be a beginner would appreciate. It is terribly overrated.
Gorgeous too! June 10, 2010 N. Kelcher (Seattle) Not only is this book full of great tips for any gardener, the illustrations are whimsical and adorable. I found myself picking up the book just to look at the design. Well done from cover to cover!
Great May 24, 2010 P. Coomer (Cincinnati, Ohio United States) The book came quickly & had lots of very useful information in it. I built the planter box from the plans inside the book. It looks great & I now have a small garden on my deck! I would recommend this book to anyone!
Great Beginner's Guide May 24, 2010 Dr. Yvette C. Fernandez (Atlanta, GA) This book is fun and informative. A great guide for the beginner, especially those who live in urban apartments.
My gift May 9, 2010 A. Gallacher (United kingdom) I purchased this book for my daughter who is a first time owner of a house with a garden. What first attracted me to this book was the title; it sounded young and enterprising and not just another book with 'dummies' in the title. She is really enjoying this book and finding it very helpful. Glad I got that one right!
