| Customer Reviews: Book with good values October 2, 2009 Linda Wong (Union City, CA) This book came in good shape (since this was a older book, I was not expecting much). The color is vivid and stories are well written. Similar to Thomas Trian book, it translates good values via stories. I bought this same book again for another 3-yr old boy and he demands a story everynight from this book. It is a good way to exercise my muscle too as he takes it with him everywhere after his bath at night to get ready for story time.
This is a great book January 19, 2007 'Woody' (Oregon) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 20 month old son really enjoys 'Bob'. When he saw this book his eyes lit right up, and he instantly wanted to hear some stories. The stories are well writen and the color pictures do a wonderful job of entertaining and engaging him.
If you have a 'Bob' fan, I can't imagine him/her not loving this book.
Bob's Boring Episode Synopses September 28, 2003 6 out of 15 found this review helpful
I'm not familiar enough with the series to know for sure, but these stories sound a lot like summaries of BTB episodes to me. The writing is bland, and feels like one must trudge to the end of each story. I guess this book is innocuous enough, but lacks the imaginative language that would make a child want to read it for himself/herself. Can we endure it? Yes, we can. But, hey! Isn't that a Dr. Seuss book next to it on the shelf! Let's read that one instead tonight...
