All of my kids (three boys, ages 7,4 and 2) love the Bob tool shaped board books. They are short and fun. Highly recommend.

My 4-year-old son, who loves tools and Bob the Builder, received this as a gift. This sturdy book is actually shaped like a screwdriver, which is original and fun. However, the text does not have a story - Bob fixes some random items in rhyming verse, but there's no plot. Because of this, my son lost interest quickly.
