Product Description The clock tower is broken, the windmill won’t spin, and Farmer Pickles’s barn has loose screws. Can you fix it? Yes, you can! This fun-filled board book, with an attached toy screwdriver, lets kids turn a movable screw on each page. With a click-click-click the screw turns and the work gets finished! Great work, team!

My 21-month-old son has enjoyed this book since he was over a year old (the plastic screwdriver might be a little sharp for a child under age 1). When he could not turn the screw with the screwdriver himself, he liked to hold the screwdriver and put it through the hole in the book as we read. Now that he's a little older, he can turn the screw himself. As he gets even older, he will understand the story more and turn the screw at the appointed times in the story. I also like that the book comes with a storage slot for the screwdriver so it stays with the book.
Led to reading by all mannner of enticements February 16, 2004 Gwynne C. Spencer (Mancos, Colorado) 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
Admittedly, Bob the Builder is for "little guys", and this heavy duty board book with a built-in screwdriver and clicking turnaround "screw" will entice boys into the book again and again. I'd recommend this for 14-18 month old boys, who will get good practice on hand-eye coordination as they aim the tip of the screwdriver into the slot. The story is not the point; lap timeis everything. Kids who come to school with 1000 or more lap hours with books are always highly successful students. This will help build up laptime for little guys.
